Construction of bamboo transitional house

The ADRELO project is an international initiative committed to strengthening the resilience of low-income communities located in areas prone to natural disasters. One of the innovative solutions proposed to tackle this problem is the adoption of bamboo as an alternative and sustainable building material in regions where the raw material is available. In April 2023, we conducted a specialized course on building with bamboo, with a view to implementing this solution in practice. During the course, we trained professionals and enthusiasts, focusing on the execution of a transitional bamboo house, specifically designed to provide efficient shelter in natural disaster situations.
