It is physically located in an area of 653.12 m2; attends the EEUSP community and the external public, and renders advisory services to the scientific nursing community both nationally and internationally. It is renowned as one of the most important libraries of nursing in Latin America. The bibliographic patrimony consists of books, journals, thesis, leaflets, and special materials totaling over 74,077 volumes.

This patrimony is up-to-date, the reference system is electronic and it is available for research in DEDALUS (USP Bibliographic Data Bank). It also enables an on-line access to electronic journal web sites and E-books.
