Imunobiologia de tumores e das células dendríticas

Resumo

A pesquisa em nosso laboratório se dedica ao estudo das relações entre o sistema imune e as neoplasias, tanto em pacientes humanos quanto em modelos experimentais. Temos estudado alterações funcionais de diferentes populações celulares do sistema imune, incluindo linfócitos T e B, macrófagos e células dendríticas em pacientes portadores de diferentes tipos de câncer. Ao mesmo tempo, temos procurado desenvolver abordagens imunoterapêuticas para o câncer baseadas nas células dendríticas e identificar fatores preditivos de resposta neste contexto.
