Technical Visits to the USP General Archive<\/p>\n
The USP General Archive responds to requests for technical visits, in which it presents its building structure \u2013 specifically built to house an archive \u2013 and addresses topics related to its Document Management instruments: Temporality Table, Classification Plan and Glossary of Species\/Formats and Document Types; technical work on document description, conservation and research, as well as the procedures for Elimination and Collection of Documents institutionalized by the University.<\/p>\n
Requests for technical visits must be sent by email to the address: Arquivogeral@usp.br.<\/p>\n
We ask that interested parties identify their institutional affiliation, topics of interest, number of participants and desired date and time, so that we can schedule a day and time that is convenient for both parties.<\/p>\n
Cultural Tour at the USP General Archive<\/p>\n
In March 2017, the General Archive of USP was invited to take part in the Giro Cultural USP, a program of cultural or scientific tours around the campus of Cidade Universit\u00e1ria Armando de Salles Oliveira, aimed primarily at elementary or secondary school audiences, coming from schools public or private.<\/p>\n
Participation in the Cultural Giro integrates the actions of externalizing the AG’s activities, contributing to the dissemination of knowledge about the typical technical activities of a permanent archive.<\/p>\n
