\nO <\/span>ORCiD<\/span><\/b> (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) \u00e9 um identificador digital \u00fanico gratuito e persistente, que distingue um acad\u00eamico\/pesquisador de outro e resolve o problema da ambiguidade e semelhan\u00e7a de nomes de autores e indiv\u00edduos, substituindo as varia\u00e7\u00f5es de nome por um \u00fanico c\u00f3digo num\u00e9rico, algo como “0000-0002-0123-208X.”. <\/span><\/div>\n

\nDessa forma, facilita o registro de informa\u00e7\u00f5es e automatiza a atualiza\u00e7\u00e3o das publica\u00e7\u00f5es e produ\u00e7\u00f5es (artigos, trabalhos, etc).<\/span><\/div>\n

\nEm 15 de setembro de 2016, a <\/span>Universidade de S\u00e3o Paulo (USP)<\/span><\/b> passou a ser oficialmente membro institucional da ORCID. A afilia\u00e7\u00e3o permitir\u00e1 \u00e0 USP gerar ORCID iDs autenticados ou autenticar os ORCID iDs existentes de todos os integrantes de sua comunidade (estudantes, docentes e servidores t\u00e9cnico-administrativos). <\/span>Todo docente e pesquisador da USP deve ter seu registro ORCID autenticado.<\/span> <\/b><\/div>\n
