Under the supervision of Jaroslava Varella Valentova and Marco A. C. Varella, our lab studies different aspects of human behavior from a scientific, psychobiological perspective, including proximal and distal factors that influence human behavior and psychology. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-placeholder=\"Translation\" aria-label=\"Translated text\" data-ved=\"2ahUKEwiaroHq6aGFAxUoBrkGHV4_BwIQ3ewLegQIChAU\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">We embrace the approaches of human Ethology, Evolutionary Psychology, Cultural Evolution, Behavioral Ecology, and related areas. The biggest focus is human sexuality, relationships, and personality. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Translation\" aria-label=\"Translated text\" data-ved=\"2ahUKEwiaroHq6aGFAxUoBrkGHV4_BwIQ3ewLegQIChAU\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">We mainly investigate various sexual behaviors, such as: <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Translation\" aria-label=\"Translated text\" data-ved=\"2ahUKEwiaroHq6aGFAxUoBrkGHV4_BwIQ3ewLegQIChAU\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">sexual orientations; <\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Translation\" aria-label=\"Translated text\" data-ved=\"2ahUKEwiaroHq6aGFAxUoBrkGHV4_BwIQ3ewLegQIChAU\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">sociosexuality;
