In 2005, he moved to Porto Alegre for a postdoctoral position at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, where in 2006 he started his independent academic research career as a Professor at the Organic Chemistry Department.<\/p><div class=\"\"><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The research in our group is centered on the field of organic synthesis and catalysis.
