USP Business & Human Rights

USP Business & Human Rights Working Group

The USP B&HR Working Group brings together human rights professionals and academic researchers who have an interest in continuously developing the field of business and human rights (B&HR), corporate responsibility, and accountability. The platform engages scholars and young researchers from the University of São Paulo (Ribeirão Preto Law School and Latin American Studies) to inspire academic research and strategic actions.
Highly focused on strategies to overcome the COVID-19 crisis, the initiative aims to provide a space where students, professionals, civil society, and private sector representatives can learn more about the field, network with experts, as well as explore new insights with theoretical, empirical, and methodological contributions to foster the B&HR agenda.

The group is part of the Research Group “Human Rights Violations in the Corporate Field” from the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPQ).
