He earned his B.Sc. in Chemistry from the State University of Western Paran\u00e1 (Unioeste, 2018), investigating catalytic heterocycle synthesis under the guidance of Profa. Dra. Fl\u00e1via Manarin. He then joined the LaPoCa group and obtained a master&#8217;s degree in organic synthesis at the Federal University of Paran\u00e1 (UFPR, 2021), developing projects containing organocalcogen compounds under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Daniel Rampon.<\/p>\n<p>Currently a Ph.D. candidate at the University of S\u00e3o Paulo (USP) in Prof. Giuliano Clososki&#8217;s group, his research explores microwave-assisted and flow chemistry approaches for sustainable synthesis of bioactive quinazolines.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Project Title (PhD):<\/strong> New synthetic strategies in the preparation of active pharmaceutical ingredients and quinazoline derivatives.<\/p>\n<p>The study investigates new sustainable synthetic routes for the functionalization of quinazolines, focusing on 4-aminoquinazoline derivatives, essential compounds in drugs such as antineoplastic agents (<em>erlotinib<\/em>, <em>gefitinib<\/em>), antihypertensives (<em>prazosin<\/em>), and antagonists of the A3 adenosine receptor. The goal is to develop more selective and sustainable methods, in line with <em>Green Chemistry<\/em> principles, using microwave-assisted reactions and continuous flow reactions.
