The Research Committee is the body responsible for monitoring the research activities. The Research Committee of the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirao Preto, University of Sao Paulo, was created and approved by the Congregation on April 17, 1998, where among of its main activities of competence include: overseeing requests for research assistance institutional, coordinate institutional programs undergraduates and post-doctoral; advise boards, management and research groups, on matters related to research activities, stimulating activities and interdepartmental scientific cooperation with national and international work in the report of the Faculty of Medicine, in part on research activities, to deliberate on matters referred to it by the research Council, perform such other functions conferred upon it by the Congregation and CTA, as well as those derived from standards established by the Council Research, coordinate the secretariat centralized administrative support to researchers and supervise the multi-user laboratories.
