O medo provoca diversas rea\u00e7\u00f5es defensivas, inclusive, o ataque de p\u00e2nico. Esse comportamento \u00e9 bastante comum e afeta milhares de\u00a0pessoas no mundo todo. Pesquisa realizada na Faculdade de Medicina de Ribeir\u00e3o Preto (FMRP) da USP analisou a liga\u00e7\u00e3o entre o medo e a dor no sistema nervoso.<\/p>\n

O estudo recebeu, em 2018, o Pr\u00eamio\u00a0Juarez Aranha Ricardo,\u00a0concebido na Reuni\u00e3o Anual da Sociedade Brasileira de Neuroci\u00eancias e Comportamento (SBNeC). O p\u00f3s-graduando Raimundo da Silva Soares J\u00fanior, respons\u00e1vel pelo estudo, afirma que o resultado foi surpreendente e interessante.<\/p>\n

\u201cEu vejo esse trabalho como uma pe\u00e7a de quebra-cabe\u00e7a, junto com v\u00e1rias outras que nos permite ter um panorama geral, para conseguir no futuro novos medicamentos\u201d, conclui Soares.<\/p>\n
