Research experience in the areas of Radiation Physics (semiconductor detectors), Radiation Metrology, Medical Physics of Radiodiagnostics, Dosimetry (gas detectors, TLD, OSL), Radiological Protection, and Teaching of Physics and Medical Physics.

Nancy Umisedo
She holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Licentiate in Biological Sciences from the Institute of Biosciences at the University of São Paulo (1986). She obtained a Master’s degree (2003) and a PhD in Public Health from the School of Public Health at the University of São Paulo (2007). She is currently a Laboratory Specialist at the Institute of Physics at the University of São Paulo. She has experience in the field of Radiation Dosimetry, with an emphasis on External Individual Monitoring and Environmental Dosimetry through Thermoluminescence, Optically Stimulated Luminescence, and Gamma-ray Spectrometry.
