Retired Professor from the Department of Physics at PUC-SP (1985-2014). Professor at IF-USP (2016-2018; 2022-2023). Visiting Professor at UFABC (2018-2020). Co-author of a didactic book in the field of Medical Physics. Collaborative researcher at IEE-USP (1997-2015) and IF-USP (2016 to the present). Research experience in the areas of Radiation Physics (semiconductor detectors), Radiation Metrology, Medical Physics of Radiodiagnostics, Dosimetry (gas detectors, TLD, OSL), Radiological Protection, and Teaching of Physics and Medical Physics.

Denise Yanikian Nersissian

Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the Institute of Physics at the University of São Paulo (IF/USP) (1997); Ph.D. in Nuclear Technology – Applications from the Institute for Energy and Nuclear Research (2004); Specialist in Radiodiagnostics by the Brazilian Association of Medical Physics (ABFM-RX-331/909 – 2009); Physicist at the Institute of Physics at the University of São Paulo (IF/USP). Preceptor of the Medical Physics Residency Program in the area of Radiodiagnostics. Works at the Institute of Radiology of the Hospital das Clínicas of the Medical School of the University of São Paulo (INRAD-HC-FM-USP) in the management of Image Diagnosis Quality Assurance at INRAD.

Nancy Umisedo

She holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Licentiate in Biological Sciences from the Institute of Biosciences at the University of São Paulo (1986). She obtained a Master’s degree (2003) and a PhD in Public Health from the School of Public Health at the University of São Paulo (2007). She is currently a Laboratory Specialist at the Institute of Physics at the University of São Paulo. She has experience in the field of Radiation Dosimetry, with an emphasis on External Individual Monitoring and Environmental Dosimetry through Thermoluminescence, Optically Stimulated Luminescence, and Gamma-ray Spectrometry.
