
Ph.D. Elisabeth Mateus Yoshimura
Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the University of São Paulo, as well as a master’s and a Ph.D. in Physics from the same institution. Currently, she is a full professor at the University of São Paulo. Her expertise lies in the field of Physics, with a focus on Radiation Physics, particularly in the following areas: radiation dosimetry applied to radiology, radiotherapy, and the environment; thermoluminescence and optically stimulated luminescence; radiological protection; and dosimetry of low-intensity lasers applied to health. Additionally, she serves as an ad-hoc consultant for various scientific journals, FAPESP, and CNPq. She supervises students in scientific initiation, master’s, and doctoral programs.
