In the first lecture, Dr. Werneck will present principles of epidemiological thinking, design and methods, and how they might be used to generate and interpret data in the context of epidemics.
In the second lecture, Dr. Werneck will discuss epidemiological concepts and measures typically used in infectious disease epidemiology and the challenges of estimating valid causal measures.
