Visit to Butantan Institute and Lecture by Dr. Esper Kallas
To introduce students to significant initiatives contributing to the Brazilian response to health emergencies, we have chosen to organize a general group trip to this important institution that has been at the forefront of vaccine and therapeutic development, production and distribution in Brazil. At the Butantan, we will meet with Dr. Esper Kallas, the Insitute’s director. As an Institute at the forefront of the development of vaccines and their distribution and surveillance, Dr. Kallas will share insights on the challenges facing this public institution.
