Although the use of body-worn cameras is not something new in policing, as countries such as Canada, the United States of America (USA) and the United Kingdom have already used this technology for some years, in Brazil this topic has gained prominence recently.
Today, it is on agenda of the country and there are several projects at the state level to implement this use. In order to contribute to the national debate on this topic, ESEM has developed a course with five classes that seek to inform and broaden the debate on the learnings and challenges of using body-worn cameras in policing in Brazil.
