{"id":530,"date":"2016-05-05T09:52:35","date_gmt":"2016-05-05T12:52:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sites.usp.br\/famb\/?page_id=530"},"modified":"2025-03-18T15:59:33","modified_gmt":"2025-03-18T18:59:33","slug":"pesquisa","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sites.usp.br\/famb\/en\/pesquisa\/","title":{"rendered":"Research"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nowadays, the FAMB graduate program has three huge research lines that have been recently restructured from old lines:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Molecular Biophysics;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Medical Physics;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Physics of Complex Systems.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Each research field has a balanced number of research projects and researchers. Molecular Biophysics involves researchers who are interested in studying the behavior of biological molecules employing physics concepts and methods such as the so-called spectroscopic techniques. In Medical Physics, the researchers have a strong focus on the Physics\/Medicine interface and work on topics such as radiotherapy, radiodiagnostics, medical images, among others. Finally, in the field of Complex Systems Physics the researchers work in topics such as neurosciences, complex networks, and statistics of biological systems with a strong focus on theoretical and computational models.
