Founded in 1928, the Faculty of Public Health of the University of São Paulo, a center of national and international reference in the field of Public Health, has the mission to produce and disseminate knowledge and educate human resources in public health and nutrition by means of teaching, researching, and extension, contributing to improve the population health into a better condition, and formulating public policies.
The Faculty of Public Health consists of five Departments: Environmental Health, Epidemiology, Mother and Child Health, Nutrition, and Public Health Practice. The Faculty is responsible for two undergraduate courses: Public Health, and Nutrition. Also offers opportunities for graduate in four programs: Public Health, Nutrition, Sustainability and Global Health, and Environment, Health and Sustainability. Dozens of specialized courses are also offered in our traditional Summer program.
