Concebido em 2016 como Grupo de Estudos em Migra\u00e7\u00e3o e Direito Internacional do Trabalho, o Grupo de Pesquisa em Migra\u00e7\u00e3o e Direito Internacional do Trabalho (GEMDIT) da Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de S\u00e3o Paulo (FD-USP) est\u00e1 inscrito regularmente na Comiss\u00e3o de Pesquisa da FD-USP<\/strong> (http:\/\/www.direito.usp.br\/pesquisa\/grupos_pesquisa_01.php<\/span><\/span><\/a>) e no Diret\u00f3rio dos Grupos de Pesquisa no Brasil (DGP) do Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Cient\u00edfico e Tecnol\u00f3gico (CNPq)<\/strong> (http:\/\/dgp.cnpq.br\/dgp\/espelhogrupo\/4213229401105309<\/span><\/span><\/a>). O Grupo tem o objetivo geral de promover reflex\u00f5es e debates interdisciplinares. Por meio de Atividades de Cultura e Extens\u00e3o, tratamos, por exemplo, de uma regi\u00e3o tem\u00e1tica bastante heterog\u00eanea e sens\u00edvel: os grupos sociais vulner\u00e1veis em um ambiente internacional de trabalho, com especial aten\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0s condi\u00e7\u00f5es dos imigrantes \u2013 documentados ou n\u00e3o \u2013 e aos seus impactos nos pa\u00edses receptores.<\/span><\/p>\n

Conceived in 2016 as the Study Group on Migration and International Labor Law, the Research Group on Migration and International Labor Law (GEMDIT) of the Faculty of Law of the University of Sao Paulo (FD-USP) is regularly registered in the Research Commission of the FD-USP<\/strong> (http:\/\/www.direito.usp.br\/pesquisa\/grupos_pesquisa_01.php<\/span><\/span><\/a>) and in the Directory of Research Groups in Brazil (DGP) of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq)<\/strong> (http:\/\/dgp.cnpq.br\/dgp\/espelhogrupo\/4213229401105309<\/span><\/span><\/a>). The Group has the general objective of promoting interdisciplinary reflections and debates. Through Cultural and Outreach Activities, we deal, for example, with a very heterogeneous and sensitive thematic region: vulnerable social groups in an international work environment, with special attention to the conditions of immigrants – documented or not – and their impacts on the recipient countries.<\/span><\/p>\n

A din\u00e2mica das Atividades de Cultura e Extens\u00e3o oferecidas pelo GEMDIT se baseia em pesquisas bibliogr\u00e1ficas, emp\u00edricas e comparadas, bem como em reuni\u00f5es peri\u00f3dicas, voltadas a trabalhos \u00fateis \u00e0 sociedade. A produ\u00e7\u00e3o de materiais informativos e o assessoramento de organiza\u00e7\u00f5es n\u00e3o governamentais (ONGs) – e outras associa\u00e7\u00f5es – que se dedicam a grupos vulner\u00e1veis de imigrantes s\u00e3o exemplos. As parcerias que constitu\u00edmos podem se dar isoladamente ou envolvendo outras iniciativas j\u00e1 estabelecidas na USP.<\/span><\/p>\n

The functioning of the Culture and Outreach Activities offered by GEMDIT is based on bibliographic, empirical, and comparative research, as well as periodic meetings focused on useful works for the society. The elaboration of informative materials and the advice to non-governmental organizations (NGOs) – and other associations – that are dedicated to vulnerable groups of immigrants are examples. The partnerships we form may take place with a specific project or involve other initiatives already established at USP.<\/span><\/p>\n

Uma das Atividades do GEMDIT resultou na Cartilha de Direitos Trabalhistas e Previdenci\u00e1rios para Imigrantes e Refugiados (dispon\u00edvel neste site)<\/strong>. Para elaborar essa Cartilha, tivemos contato com documentos de diversos \u00f3rg\u00e3os, como: (i) em n\u00edvel internacional, da Organiza\u00e7\u00e3o Internacional do Trabalho (OIT); (ii) em n\u00edvel regional, das Cortes Interamericana e Europeia de Direitos Humanos; e (iii) em n\u00edvel nacional, do Comit\u00ea Nacional para os Refugiados (CONARE). Al\u00e9m disso, a Coordena\u00e7\u00e3o do Grupo convidou especialistas no tema migrat\u00f3rio para participar de reuni\u00f5es e ministrar palestras.<\/span><\/p>\n

One of the GEMDIT Activities resulted in the Primer on Labor and Social Security Rights for Immigrants and Refugees (available on this website)<\/strong>. To prepare this primer, we had contact with documents from several bodies, such as: (i) at the international level, from the International Labor Organization (ILO); (ii) at the regional level, from the Inter-American and European Courts of Human Rights; and (iii) at the national level, from the National Committee for Refugees (CONARE). Besides, the Group Coordination invited specialists on the migration issue to take part in meetings and to give lectures.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
