O estudo analisa como esses mecanismos resultaram em uma nova concep\u00e7\u00e3o de sujeito em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 sexualidade no per\u00edodo em quest\u00e3o, e como o cristianismo contribuiu para a forma\u00e7\u00e3o de comunidades heterog\u00eaneas em torno do sacramento da confiss\u00e3o. A pesquisa prop\u00f5e examinar dois momentos-chave: um conjunto de penitenciais produzidos entre os s\u00e9culos VI-IX e cole\u00e7\u00f5es can\u00f4nicas dos s\u00e9culos X-XII. O foco principal recai sobre uma an\u00e1lise que privilegia a lux\u00faria nas cole\u00e7\u00f5es can\u00f4nicas, sobretudo, na experi\u00eancia mon\u00e1stica. As cole\u00e7\u00f5es can\u00f4nicas revelam um cen\u00e1rio complexo, no qual uma base comum de pr\u00e1ticas confessionais \u00e9 adaptada \u00e0s nuances regionais. O estudo do sujeito a partir da confiss\u00e3o nos revela uma rela\u00e7\u00e3o entre a constitui\u00e7\u00e3o espacial do cristianismo e a forma\u00e7\u00e3o de comunidades heterog\u00eaneas em torno de um mesmo sacramento. A amplitude do <em>corpus<\/em> documental ser\u00e1 vista a partir da metodologia da Hist\u00f3ria Conectada, compreendendo a diversidade de sujeitos em um espa\u00e7o europeu heterog\u00eaneo e altamente interligado, entre a regi\u00e3o insular com o centro da Europa ocidental, a saber os territ\u00f3rios da Irlanda e Inglaterra, centro-leste da Fran\u00e7a, extremo oeste da Alemanha e centro-norte da It\u00e1lia, questionando a ideia da Europa como um bloco homog\u00eaneo centrado no cristianismo. A hip\u00f3tese central \u00e9 que as pr\u00e1ticas de confiss\u00e3o e penit\u00eancia contribu\u00edram significativamente para a forma\u00e7\u00e3o do sujeito medieval, revelando, atrav\u00e9s da sexualidade, as nuances e contradi\u00e7\u00f5es entre indiv\u00edduo e sujeito nesse per\u00edodo. Consideramos o espa\u00e7o europeu mediado por tens\u00f5es em diferentes escalas espaciais, na qual o cristianismo, por meio do sacramento da confiss\u00e3o, responde \u00e0s particularidades locais \u00faltimas duas d\u00e9cadas a escandinav\u00edstica presenciou uma explos\u00e3o de trabalhos que exploraram as m\u00faltiplas vertentes da chamada di\u00e1spora escandinava, superando as abordagens tradicionais sobre os vikings que priorizavam as incurs\u00f5es militares. A amplia\u00e7\u00e3o dos estudos fundamentou a elabora\u00e7\u00e3o de um mundo viking pautado nas influ\u00eancias escandinavas \u00e0s diversas \u00e1reas em que a di\u00e1spora se efetivou, destacando as din\u00e2micas da circula\u00e7\u00e3o, conex\u00e3o e intera\u00e7\u00e3o que as os muitos grupos escandinavos estabeleceram em escala global durante o chamado Per\u00edodo Viking (750-1000). Esse percurso, caracter\u00edstico de um deslocamento de abordagem destrutivista para uma construtivista acerca do fen\u00f4meno viking, terminou por, se n\u00e3o negligenciar, ao menos reduzir o papel da pilhagem a uma mera express\u00e3o de viol\u00eancia. Cabe, contudo, redimensionar a fun\u00e7\u00e3o da pilhagem no mundo viking inserindo-a num conjunto de rela\u00e7\u00f5es sociais que fundamentam as sociedades vikings e lhes colocam em \u00edntimo contato com o restante do globo. Assim, avaliar o papel dos vikings na preda\u00e7\u00e3o e participa\u00e7\u00e3o do com\u00e9rcio de escravos garante um poss\u00edvel enquadramento desses guerreiros-mercadores como respons\u00e1veis pela integra\u00e7\u00e3o do extremo norte \u00e0s redes escravistas da Afro-eur\u00e1sia j\u00e1 em opera\u00e7\u00e3o durante os primeiros s\u00e9culos medievais. Trata-se, portanto, de observar como as din\u00e2micas globais envolvem tamb\u00e9m em sua configura\u00e7\u00e3o o estabelecimento de trocas leg\u00edtimas, mas tamb\u00e9m Tais narrativas com frequ\u00eancia envolviam imagens religiosas, que tiveram grande protagonismo nas rela\u00e7\u00f5es entre crist\u00e3os velhos e convertidos, judeus e mu\u00e7ulmanos, seja por seu culto, seja por sua rejei\u00e7\u00e3o, como demonstram os relatos de agress\u00f5es a imagens que resultaram em rea\u00e7\u00f5es consideradas milagrosas. Iremos estudar tr\u00eas desses relatos milagrosos que envolviam crucifixos, que t\u00eam a particularidade de ainda hoje existirem e serem cultuados: o Milagre do Sant\u00edssimo Cristo de Salvador (que teria sucedido em 1250, tendo sido configurado como uma decorr\u00eancia da Passio Imaginis do Cristo de Beirute e do Crucifixo de Nicodemus), o Milagre do Sant\u00edssimo Cristo do Grao, de 1411, e o Milagre do Cristo de Resgate, de 1539. A partir da an\u00e1lise dessas narrativas em diferentes fontes, tanto escritas quanto pict\u00f3ricas, buscaremos entender tanto as demandas locais como a circula\u00e7\u00e3o dessas lendas e objetos de culto (nestes casos, os crucifixos) pelo Mediterr\u00e2neo. Para isso, consideraremos os diversos significados, usos e fun\u00e7\u00f5es que as imagens poderiam assumir, tanto na perspectiva crist\u00e3 quanto das outras comunidades religiosas, valendo-nos das eclesi\u00e1stico. Em uma delas, o arcediago de Angers, Bereng\u00e1rio, defendia uma interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o real, mas n\u00e3o corp\u00f3rea da presen\u00e7a de Cristo na eucaristia. Na outra, cl\u00e9rigos latinos e gregos redescobriam antigas diferen\u00e7as e debatiam, especialmente, o tipo de p\u00e3o utilizado na celebra\u00e7\u00e3o eucar\u00edstica. Ainda que em contextos diferentes, as querelas berengariana (1049-1079) e azimista (1053-1054) colocaram em jogo a interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o e a liturgia do sacramento do altar, presen\u00e7a fundamental no cotidiano das sociedades crist\u00e3s do per\u00edodo. As controv\u00e9rsias renderam condena\u00e7\u00f5es de parte a parte, sendo o chamado Cisma do Oriente, em 1054, a mais importante. Embora contempor\u00e2neas, tais disputas foram majoritariamente estudadas como fen\u00f4menos separados. Este projeto prop\u00f5e um novo olhar a respeito das rela\u00e7\u00f5es entre as comunidades grega e latina a partir do estudo conectado das querelas, que compartilharam n\u00e3o apenas o tema em disputa, mas tamb\u00e9m diversos personagens. O mais proeminente deles, Humberto de Silva Candida, foi o respons\u00e1vel pelas excomunh\u00f5es do patriarca de Constantinopla Miguel Cerul\u00e1rio, em 1054, e do arcediago Bereng\u00e1rio, em 1059. Pretendemos identificar e compreender as ideias de comunidade em quest\u00e3o tendo em vista o car\u00e1ter fundante da comunidade crist\u00e3 que a eucaristia assume ainda mais fortemente no per\u00edodo e a maneira como o jogo entre interesses pol\u00edticos, debate teol\u00f3gico, conceito de comunidade e conflito se relacionam a processos concretos de transforma\u00e7\u00e3o e instaura\u00e7\u00e3o de comunidades. d\u00e9cada de 1440 Giovanni di Antonio da Uzzano, mercador florentino, ao escrever sua Pratica della Mercatura, indicou que uma salma de trigo da Ap\u00falia era descarregada como 6 moggia em Chiarenza, na Gr\u00e9cia, e, em Arles (Proven\u00e7a), se tornava 4 sestieri; 100 salme da Sic\u00edlia, ao aportar na Tun\u00edsia, recebia a denomina\u00e7\u00e3o de 110 chassisi, e, caso fosse para Tr\u00edpoli, tamb\u00e9m no Norte da \u00c1frica, era comprada como 80 chassisi de trigo. As indica\u00e7\u00f5es do mercador mapeiam conex\u00f5es comerciais constru\u00eddas durante a Conjuntura de 1300 e que se consolidaram durante as duas cent\u00farias finais da Idade M\u00e9dia. As rotas do com\u00e9rcio nos permitem, por\u00e9m, pensar em termos da forma\u00e7\u00e3o de um mercado de cereais na escala do Mediterr\u00e2neo? A exist\u00eancia de m\u00faltiplos sistemas de medida sugere a inexist\u00eancia de um sistema de pre\u00e7os unificado. Entretanto, as mudan\u00e7as clim\u00e1ticas em curso, apontadas pelas pesquisas atuais, parecem ter acirrado a oscila\u00e7\u00e3o da produtividade das colheitas de cereais, registrada pela documenta\u00e7\u00e3o. O fluxo irregular de safras escassas ou abundantes era percebido, pelos mercadores, como oportunidades de neg\u00f3cio. Assim, o mesmo Marino Sanuto relata como uma queda nas colheitas na Pen\u00ednsula Ib\u00e9rica, j\u00e1 no come\u00e7o do s\u00e9culo XVI, causou uma repentina atra\u00e7\u00e3o de embarca\u00e7\u00f5es carregadas de trigo produzido na It\u00e1lia e no Mediterr\u00e2neo Oriental. Nossa pesquisa pretende ter como ponto de partida a grande exporta\u00e7\u00e3o de cereais da Pen\u00ednsula It\u00e1lica Meridional, ocorrida durante os dois \u00faltimos s\u00e9culos da Idade M\u00e9dia, para observar como conex\u00f5es comerciais se formaram e se transformaram no espa\u00e7o do Mediterr\u00e2neo, envolvendo participa\u00e7\u00e3o de atores econ\u00f4micos localizados em class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Resumo do projeto individual:<\/strong>&nbsp;O objetivo principal desta pesquisa \u00e9 investigar as rela\u00e7\u00f5es entre a alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o e a propaga\u00e7\u00e3o da peste no Egito sob dom\u00ednio romano, entre os s\u00e9culos VI e VII. Para isso, ser\u00e3o utilizados principalmente dados oriundos de s\u00edtios arqueol\u00f3gicos do Baixo Egito, em especial, na regi\u00e3o de Alexandria, e, de forma complementar, relatos escritos a respeito da pandemia. &nbsp; Tamb\u00e9m foram delimitados quatro objetivos secund\u00e1rios com o intuito de guiar o desenvolvimento da pesquisa at\u00e9 a realiza\u00e7\u00e3o do objetivo principal. &nbsp; 1) Em primeiro lugar, pretende-se discutir como se manifestava a rela\u00e7\u00e3o entre a produ\u00e7\u00e3o de alimentos, a fome e a peste a partir dos documentos e evid\u00eancias arqueol\u00f3gicas levantados para a pesquisa e dos debates historiogr\u00e1ficos acerca do tema. Buscaremos discutir em que medida a subnutri\u00e7\u00e3o era capaz de amplificar o impacto da peste. &nbsp;2) &nbsp;Em segundo lugar, ser\u00e3o examinadas as conex\u00f5es estabelecidas nas obras de Proc\u00f3pio de Cesareia, Jo\u00e3o de \u00c9feso e Miguel, o S\u00edrio, entre os epis\u00f3dios de fome e a Peste Justiniana &nbsp; 3) Em terceiro lugar, analisaremos a situa\u00e7\u00e3o epid\u00eamica por meio de evid\u00eancias da Arqueologia Funer\u00e1ria, utilizando as informa\u00e7\u00f5es contidas nas sepulturas para tra\u00e7ar um quadro mais abrangente do impacto da peste nas comunidades do Egito romano. Quando poss\u00edvel, a an\u00e1lise da paleogen\u00e9tica ser\u00e1 incorporada para contribuir com informa\u00e7\u00f5es sobre a dissemina\u00e7\u00e3o da doen\u00e7a. 4) Finalmente, o projeto visa tamb\u00e9m analisar a situa\u00e7\u00e3o alimentar dos s\u00edtios selecionados ao longo do per\u00edodo estudado, por meios dos vest\u00edgios arqueol\u00f3gicos, como restos alimentares, estruturas de armazenamento, gr\u00e3os fossilizados, ossos animais, marcadores de estresse \u00f3sseo, etc. &nbsp; Ao longo da pesquisa, para auxiliar na realiza\u00e7\u00e3o dos objetivos propostos, se-r\u00e3o criados bancos de dados a partir das fontes escritas e do material arqueol\u00f3gico. Esses dados ser\u00e3o georreferenciados e organizados em um mapa interativo que ser\u00e1 disponibilizado ao p\u00fablico mediante integra\u00e7\u00e3o deste doutorado com o Projeto Universal \u201cEpidemias, crises de mortalidade e \u00e1lgebra de mapas no Mediterr\u00e2neo medieval\u201d. O mapa ser\u00e1 criado atrav\u00e9s do ArcGis e do MultiMapas, plataforma para produ\u00e7\u00e3o de mapas e estat\u00edsticas georreferenciadas desenvolvida pelo Centro de Intelig\u00eancia class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Resumo do projeto individual:<\/strong>\u00a0Nesta pesquisa, pretendo analisar a rela\u00e7\u00e3o entre den\u00fancias de tratamento indevido dos bens diocesanos e conflitos pelo patrim\u00f4nio eclesial, com foco na G\u00e1lia e na Hisp\u00e2nia, nos s\u00e9culos VI-VIII. As dioceses g\u00e1licas e hisp\u00e2nicas se enriqueceram a partir do s\u00e9culo VI. Segundo as leis r\u00e9gias, atas conciliares episcopais e as narrativas (como as hist\u00f3rias, hagiografias e cr\u00f4nicas) merov\u00edngias e visig\u00f3ticas, a finalidade do patrim\u00f4nio eclesial era auxiliar os mais necessitados. As mesmas fontes apontam, contudo, para pr\u00e1ticas consideradas indevidas sobre os bens, que poderiam envolver a sua destrui\u00e7\u00e3o ou a sua circula\u00e7\u00e3o &#8211; casos em que o controle do patrim\u00f4nio era perdido pelas comunidades diocesanas e tomado por outrem, como pelo roubo, pela pilhagem, pelo confisco ou pela venda dos bens eclesiais. Pretendo analisar a rela\u00e7\u00e3o entre as den\u00fancias presentes nas fontes e os conflitos sobre os bens diocesanos, os quais podiam ocorrer dentro de uma comunidade eclesial, entre dioceses ou entre comunidades eclesiais e agentes laicos. Estudarei as disputas a partir de uma articula\u00e7\u00e3o multiescalar da documenta\u00e7\u00e3o, integrando a perspectiva local sobre as dioceses fornecida pelas narrativas com a perspectiva regional ou supra-regional das igrejas fornecida pelas atas conciliares e pelas leis r\u00e9gias. Viso estudar, por fim, como a frequ\u00eancia das den\u00fancias de circula\u00e7\u00e3o indevida dos bens eclesiais se relacionou \u00e0 eclos\u00e3o de crises pol\u00edticas, como as guerras civis merov\u00edngias de 561-613 e o cl\u00edmax do antagonismo entre o arianismo e o catolicismo na Hisp\u00e2nia entre 579-586. Analisarei, na G\u00e1lia, 4 textos legais r\u00e9gios (507-614); 12 atas conciliares (511-627), a Gl\u00f3ria dos M\u00e1rtires (590) e as Hist\u00f3rias (594) de Greg\u00f3rio de Tours; o IV Livro da Cr\u00f4nica de \u201cFredeg\u00e1rio\u201d (d\u00e9cada de 660); a Paix\u00e3o de Leodeg\u00e1rio de Autun (c. 690); a Vida de Audoeno de Rouen (c. 710) e o Livro da Hist\u00f3ria dos Francos (727). J\u00e1 na Hisp\u00e2nia, analisarei 11 atas conciliares (516-675); a Hist\u00f3ria de Isidoro de Sevilha (c. 624); a Vida de Emiliano (c. 640) de Br\u00e1ulio de Sarago\u00e7a; o Livro dos Julgamentos (702); a Hist\u00f3ria de Juliano de Toledo (675); a Vida de Frutuoso de Braga (fim do s\u00e9culo VII) e As Vidas dos Pais de M\u00e9rida (680). class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Resumo do projeto individual:<\/strong>\u00a0O objetivo deste projeto \u00e9 analisar a gest\u00e3o da produ\u00e7\u00e3o aliment\u00edcia nas regi\u00f5es centrais e setentrionais da Pen\u00ednsula It\u00e1lica sob a administra\u00e7\u00e3o do Reino Lombardo. O estudo ser\u00e1 feito a partir da an\u00e1lise das estruturas de armazenamento, cujo uso prim\u00e1rio foi a estocagem da produ\u00e7\u00e3o cereal\u00edfera, e dos diplomas reais e das cartas (chartae) privadas, que majoritariamente documentam as transa\u00e7\u00f5es de propriedades entre indiv\u00edduos de diferentes esferas de atua\u00e7\u00e3o. O c\u00f3digo de leis (Edictus ceteraeque langobardorum leges, MGH) tamb\u00e9m ser\u00e1 utilizado, pois prescreveu o uso e os procedimentos de produ\u00e7\u00e3o e de valida\u00e7\u00e3o das cartas entre os s\u00e9culos VII e VIII. Minha expectativa \u00e9 identificar poss\u00edveis tend\u00eancias relativas aos sistemas de estocagem frente \u00e0s diferentes din\u00e2micas hist\u00f3ricas do per\u00edodo. O recorte temporal engloba tem\u00e1ticas que ganharam muito destaque na historiografia das sociedades mediterr\u00e2nicas altomedievais, notadamente a expans\u00e3o do Yersinia pestis e o impacto das flutua\u00e7\u00f5es clim\u00e1ticas e dos fen\u00f4menos naturais (aqui entendidos como eventos de ordem geol\u00f3gica ou pluviom\u00e9trica) nas comunidades humanas. Atualmente, a rela\u00e7\u00e3o entre clima e epidemias \u00e9 altamente discutida; no caso da It\u00e1lia, soma-se ao debate os poss\u00edveis pap\u00e9is dos conflitos militares e dos epis\u00f3dios de carestia registrados nas fontes escritas. Por exemplo, entre o estabelecimento dos lombardos at\u00e9 a domina\u00e7\u00e3o carol\u00edngia, 21 men\u00e7\u00f5es \u00e0 fome e a surtos epid\u00eamicos foram encontradas, das quais, ao menos, nove se referem \u00e0s regi\u00f5es setentrionais. Desse modo, a pesquisa apresentar\u00e1 um grande di\u00e1logo com estudos focados em outras regi\u00f5es do Mediterr\u00e2neo, cujas sociedades foram impactadas e\/ou transformadas por situa\u00e7\u00f5es desestabilizadoras. As estruturas de armazenamento ser\u00e3o analisadas a partir do material dispon\u00edvel nas soprintendenze regionais (Friuli-Venezia-Giulia; Trentino-Alto Adige; Lombardia; Valle d\u2019Aosta; Piemonte; Liguria; Emilia-Romagna; Veneto; Toscana), a partir do qual ser\u00e1 feita uma tipocronologia relativa. As cartas ser\u00e3o estudadas atrav\u00e9s do Codice diplomatico longobardo, editado por Luigi Schiaparelli. As estruturas e as transa\u00e7\u00f5es de propriedade ser\u00e3o geolocalizadas no Mapa Interativo, elaborado pelo eixo M\u00e9todos Digitais deste Projeto Tem\u00e1tico, que auxiliar\u00e1 na visualiza\u00e7\u00e3o de poss\u00edveis tend\u00eancias e correla\u00e7\u00f5es. Os dados produzidos a partir das fontes hist\u00f3ricas e arqueol\u00f3gicas ser\u00e3o disponibilizados em um banco de dados digital, em fichas padronizadas pelo Projeto Coletivo presente projeto de pesquisa visa identificar e discutir a circula\u00e7\u00e3o de uma cultura visual ligada \u00e0 gens normannorum a partir de certos objetos art\u00edsticos confeccionados em Inglaterra e na chamada Sic\u00edlia normanda, entre os s\u00e9culos XI e XII. Ao lan\u00e7arem-se em projetos de agress\u00e3o e conquista militar frente a popula\u00e7\u00f5es outras, existentes no contexto da Europa do Norte ou na Bacia do Mediterr\u00e2neo, as sociedades normandas tensionaram-se entre uma constante necessidade de manuten\u00e7\u00e3o identit\u00e1ria e a constitui\u00e7\u00e3o de espa\u00e7os transculturais. Nesse sentido, ao tomarmos a Tape\u00e7aria de Bayeux (c. 1077), que celebra da vit\u00f3ria de Guilherme, o Conquistador, na Batalha de Hastings, bem como o claustro rom\u00e2nico de Monreale (c. 1174-1189), constru\u00eddo a mando de Guilherme II da Sic\u00edlia (1166 -1189), nos propomos a pensar, a partir de uma Hist\u00f3ria Conectada, a circula\u00e7\u00e3o de temas ligados \u00e0 marcialidade por uma espacialidade mais ampla, de modo a propor um di\u00e1logo entre o mundo anglo-normando e \u00e0s sociedades mediterr\u00e2nicas a partir do prisma de uma cultura visual compartilhada. Com isso, objetivamos inserir nossa pesquisa no interior daquilo que vem sendo pensado em termos de uma Hist\u00f3ria Global. Essa abordagem, de sem\u00e2ntica ainda multifacetada, nos permitiria vislumbrar, por interm\u00e9dio de sucessivos intercruzamentos entre esses diferentes espa\u00e7os de produ\u00e7\u00e3o
