    \u00a0O\u00a0Laborat\u00f3rio de Diversidade Gen\u00e9tica e Melhoramento<\/span>, vinculado \u00e0 ESALQ\/USP, dedica-se ao estudo da variabilidade gen\u00e9tica em plantas e de suas intera\u00e7\u00f5es com o ambiente.<\/p>

    Sob a coordena\u00e7\u00e3o do Prof. Dr. Jos\u00e9 Baldin Pinheiro, o laborat\u00f3rio constitui um espa\u00e7o de pesquisa, forma\u00e7\u00e3o e inova\u00e7\u00e3o cient\u00edfica, onde s\u00e3o desenvolvidas investiga\u00e7\u00f5es voltadas \u00e0 compreens\u00e3o dos mecanismos que moldam a diversidade biol\u00f3gica em diferentes esp\u00e9cies e ecossistemas.<\/p>

    As linhas de pesquisa abrangem \u00e1reas como \u00f4micas, biotecnologia, melhoramento de plantas e conserva\u00e7\u00e3o de recursos gen\u00e9ticos, com o objetivo de gerar conhecimento aplicado e contribuir para o avan\u00e7o da agricultura e do desenvolvimento sustent\u00e1vel.<\/p>

    Al\u00e9m da produ\u00e7\u00e3o cient\u00edfica, o laborat\u00f3rio tem como compromisso a forma\u00e7\u00e3o de recursos humanos qualificados. Promove-se um ambiente de aprendizado din\u00e2mico, pautado na colabora\u00e7\u00e3o, na autonomia cient\u00edfica e no desenvolvimento pessoal, considerados fundamentais para a inova\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>
