Milene Janetti
PhD candidate
Her research interests involve ecophysiology and chronobiology, particularly how endogenous mechanisms contribute to the understanding of organism-environment interactions. She holds a Bachelor degree in Biological Sciences and a Master degree in Sciences (General Physiology) by the University of São Paulo, during which she worked in the Binational Lab investigating the temporal pattern of tuco-tucos’ emergence to the surface and its variation throughout the year, in a semi-field environment. Currently, she is interested in understanding how tuco-tucos change their behavior as a response to the energetic challenges they face throughout the year, using bio-logging techniques to extract information on their activity underground.

Giovane Improta
PhD candidate
Master of Sciences (2021), Licentiate and Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of São Paulo (2018). He has worked as a graduate student in the field of Chronobiology since his undergraduate research, with an emphasis on photoperiodism and seasonality in laboratory studies. Currently, he is a PhD candidate (PPG Fisiologia Geral USP), developing a project within Chronobiology, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Gisele Akemi Oda and Dr. Verónica Sandra Valentinuzzi.

Johana Barros
Technician
University Technician in Biogenetics. National University of La Rioja: December 2015.
[01/06/2017-Present time] CPA Technician at CONICET (National Council of Scientific and Technical Research) exclusive dedication at CRILAR (Regional Center for Research and Transfer of La Rioja) in: “Laboratory of Applied Mycology” and “Binational Laboratory of Argentina-Brazil Chronobiology ”. In charge of the rodent animal housing: feeding, cleaning, rhythm register control. Field work: capture, placement and control of collars with biologgers. Weighing, stool collection for hormonal analysis.
