Tem interesse em compreender os processos antr\u00f3picos e naturais nas forma\u00e7\u00f5es das diferentes paisagens amaz\u00f4nicas, como por exemplo: a forma\u00e7\u00e3o da terra preta; a constru\u00e7\u00e3o de s\u00edtios monticulares; e a forma\u00e7\u00e3o dos sambaquis fluviais. Tamb\u00e9m integra a equipe do projeto de pesquisa \u201cQuem somos n\u00f3s? A forma\u00e7\u00e3o da comunidade arqueol\u00f3gica no Brasil&#8221;, coordenado pela Profa. Dra. Marcia Bezerra.<\/p>\n<p><em>Graduate in Geosciences and Environmental Education (2014) and with a Masters in Archaeology (2018) from the University of S\u00e3o Paulo, Kelly studies the formation of archaeological sites using a geoarchaeological approach, with an emphasis on the technique of soil micromorphology. <\/em><em>In her doctoral project, she is working on sites from the Amazon region, in the states of Acre, Rond\u00f4nia and Amazonas, within the AHRC\/FAPESP project &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/sites.usp.br\/labmicro\/pb\/povos-indigenas-e-o-meio-ambiente-na-amazonia-antiga-pima\/\">Human-environment relationships in Pre-Columbian Amazonia<\/a> (HERCA)&#8221;.. She is interested in understanding the anthropic and natural processes behind the formation of different Amazonian landscapes, such as: terra preta formation, the construction of earthen mound sites, and the construction of fluvial shell mounds. Kelly is also part of the research project, \u201cWho are we?
