Atualmente desenvolve pesquisas com enfoque na compreens\u00e3o de processos de forma\u00e7\u00e3o de s\u00edtios arqueol\u00f3gicos atrav\u00e9s da aplica\u00e7\u00e3o de pr\u00e1ticas geoarqueol\u00f3gicas, com especial interesse na micromorfologia de solos e sedimentos.<\/p>\n<p>Em seu projeto de mestrado trabalha com s\u00edtios do litoral norte do Esp\u00edrito Santo, mais especificamente com sambaquis do munic\u00edpio de Linhares, amparado pelo Aux\u00edlio \u00e0 Pesquisa Regular FAPESP &#8220;As sociedades costeiras do Brasil pr\u00e9-colonial: fronteiras e transi\u00e7\u00f5es culturais atrav\u00e9s da microarqueologia&#8221; (Processo 2023\/08230-7)\u201d. Atrav\u00e9s dessa pesquisa, busca caracterizar os dep\u00f3sitos de uma regi\u00e3o ainda pouco estudada e complementar o modelo de ocupa\u00e7\u00e3o dos povos sambaquieiros e analisar poss\u00edveis adapta\u00e7\u00f5es \u00e0s mudan\u00e7as clim\u00e1ticas e ambientais que ocorreram ao longo do Holoceno. O estudo tem especial visibilidade para o desaparecimento dessas comunidades do registro arqueol\u00f3gico, j\u00e1 que conta com as idades de final da ocupa\u00e7\u00e3o mais recentes de todo o litoral brasileiro.<\/p>\n<p><em>Bachelor in Geology (2020) from the University of S\u00e3o Paulo (IGc-USP), having researched speleogenesis (cave formation processes) and environmental geology (environmental impact assessment) and currently conducting research focused on understanding archaeological sites&#8217; formation processes through the application of geoarchaeological practices, with a particular interest in the micromorphology of soils and sediments. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>In his master&#8217;s project, he works with sites on the northern coast of Esp\u00edrito Santo, specifically with shellmounds (sambaquis) located in the municipality of Linhares, supported by the FAPESP Regular Research Grant &#8220;Pre-colonial coastal societies of Brazil: cultural boundaries and transitions through microarchaeology&#8221; (Process 2023\/08230-7). Through this research, he aims to characterize the deposits of a still little-studied region, to complement the occupation model of the shellmounds builders, and analyze possible adaptations to climatic and environmental changes that occurred throughout the Holocene.
