Durante uma semana, a equipe do LabMicro utilizou do equipamento LiDAR (do acr\u00f4nimo da l\u00edngua inglesa\u00a0<em>Light and Detection Ranging<\/em>) para mapear e examinar mais profundamente dois s\u00edtios: o Sambaqui do N\u00f3brega e o Sambaqui Patos, ambos localizados na Ilha Comprida.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2530\" style=\"width: 2570px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a N\u00f3brega<\/p><\/div>\n<p>A equipe sobrevoou o Sambaqui do N\u00f3brega e o fotografou ostensivamente a fim de conseguir tirar maior proveito do equipamento LiDAR, que funciona emitindo luz e captando ela novamente em sua reflex\u00e3o, criando ent\u00e3o um sistema de in\u00fameros pontos. Estes pontos depois s\u00e3o processados em aplicativos especializados e por um t\u00e9cnico treinado, para que no fim possam ser criados mapas de eleva\u00e7\u00e3o focalizando o pr\u00f3prio sambaqui.
