Brief bio

Bachelor degree in Biomedical Sciences from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences at the University of São Paulo (2024). Undergraduate Researcher at the Vascular Physiology Laboratory (2020-2024), with scholarships from CNPq/PIBIC (2021-2023) and FAPESP 2023/09161-9 (2023-2024). Research Internship Abroad (BEPE FAPESP 2024/01153-0, in 2024) at the Institute of Pharmacology, University Medical Center of the Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz, Germany. Currently a PhD candidate in Sciences (Graduate Program in Functional and Molecular Biology) at the Vascular Physiology Laboratory, under the supervision of Professor Luciana Venturini Rossoni. She has experience in the field of Cardiovascular Physiology, with an emphasis on the vascular system, focusing primarily on the study of functional changes in perivascular adipose tissue (PVAT) in arterial hypertension, with a particular interest in eNOS uncoupling.

Research Project

Evaluation of the effect of cross-fostering on the blood-brain barrier, cerebral circulation, and cognitive impairments observed in spontaneously hypertensive rats.
