Brief bio

Bachelor of Biological Sciences at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais (PUC Minas, 2013), Master’s Degree (2016) and PhD (2021) in Biological Sciences – Physiology and Pharmacology from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), with an internship period abroad at the Institut de Cardiologie de Montréal, linked to the Département de Pharmacologie et Physiologie of Université de Montréal – Canada. Currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Vascular Physiology Lab located at the Biomedical Sciences Institute at University of Sao Paulo (USP), supervised by Professor Luciana Venturini Rossoni. Experience in the field of Cardiovascular Physiology and Pharmacology, with an emphasis on the Vascular System, working mainly in the following research areas: Vascular alterations in inflammatory processes, oxidative stress, renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system, role of perivascular adipose tissue (PVAT) in physiological conditions and in cardiometabolic diseases, such as obesity and hypertension.
