Medicina da Santa Casa de Miseric\u00f3rdia de Vit\u00f3ria (1996) e doutorado em Ci\u00eancias Fisiol\u00f3gicas, \u00e1rea de concentra\u00e7\u00e3o Fisiologia Cardiovascular, pela Universidade Federal do Esp\u00edrito Santo (2001), com per\u00edodo de est\u00e1gio no exterior no Departamento de Farmacologia da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Madrid. P\u00f3s-doutorado (2008-2009) na The University of Manchester atuando como pesquisadora associada ao Cardiovascular Research Group. Desde 2002, professora do Departamento de Fisiologia e Biof\u00edsica do Instituto de Ci\u00eancias Biom\u00e9dicas da Universidade de S\u00e3o Paulo.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Desde a minha gradua\u00e7\u00e3o, como aluna de inicia\u00e7\u00e3o cient\u00edfica, iniciei meu treinamento na \u00e1rea de Fisiologia de \u00d3rg\u00e3os e Sistemas, com \u00eanfase em Fisiologia Cardiovascular, com a orienta\u00e7\u00e3o do Prof. Dr. Dalton Valentin Vassallo (UFES). Meu interesse no estudo da fun\u00e7\u00e3o e disfun\u00e7\u00e3o do sistema vascular em doen\u00e7as que acometem o sistema cardiovascular me levou a desenvolver meu doutorado sob supervis\u00e3o do Prof. Vassallo (UFES), com coorienta\u00e7\u00e3o dos Profs. Drs. Jesus Mar\u00edn e Mercedes Salaices (UAM-Espanha) estudando a participa\u00e7\u00e3o da ouaba\u00edna nos ajustes de reatividade vascular observadas na hipertens\u00e3o arterial. Fiz meu est\u00e1gio p\u00f3s doutoral no grupo do Prof. Dr. Anthony Heagerty continuando a me aprofundar no sistema vascular, em modelos animais e humanos, e o uso do mi\u00f3grafo de press\u00e3o como ferramenta de estudo. Eu me tornei Professora e coordenadora do Laborat\u00f3rio de Fisiologia Vascular (LabVasc) do ICB\/USP em 2002. Durante todo esse tempo tive estudantes de gradua\u00e7\u00e3o e p\u00f3s-gradua\u00e7\u00e3o e pesquisadores participando ativamente do LabVasc. Pela dedica\u00e7\u00e3o dos membros do meu grupo, sempre somos agraciados com premia\u00e7\u00f5es em congressos, nacionais e internacionais, com bolsas, assim como recebemos apoio para o desenvolvimento de nossos projetos, principalmente da FAPESP, CNPq e CAPES.
