Catarina, our master’s student, has just arrived in Münster, where she will spend the next six months conducting part of her research as part of the joint double degree program.
The University of Münster maintains a partnership with the University of São Paulo through the SãMBio double degree initiative. This program enables graduate students in the life sciences to carry out part of their training at a partner institution and earn degrees recognized by both universities, strengthening scientific collaboration between Brazil and Germany.
As part of this program, Catarina is developing her master’s research at the Institute of Epidemiology and Social Medicine, in collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical Modelling of Infectious Disease Dynamics (IMMIDD).
