Announcing the formation of a new special interest group, supported by the Pituitary Society. The group’s origins are from the long-standing “Gordon Conference” on Prolactin, and the subsequent “FASEB SRC” on the GH/PRL Family in Health and Disease. The group has decided to move to an independent conference format, under the auspices of the Pituitary Society. The goal will be to hold scientific meetings every two years, focused on the fundamental biology of these two pituitary hormones and their complex range of targets. The meetings will use a similar “all inclusive” residential format to previous meetings, but at a significantly reduced cost. The meetings will include both basic science and how this can inform clinical research and its application.

The first meeting of this new group will be held in Stirling, Scotland: 11th-15th August 2024, chaired by Paul Le Tissier (Edinburgh, UK) and Sebastian Neggers (Erasmus, NL).
