Scheduling - CEFAP - PLUMA

UVITEC ALLIANCE-6.7-89.EPI/20M (FAPESP Project 2103/22480-4) Photodocumentator: With a 6-megapixel HD camera and automatic focus adjustment, the system makes it possible to photograph and quantify western blot bands developed with chemiluminescence (peroxidase) or fluorescence in FITC, Alexa 488, and Alexa 790 (infrared). It is also possible to reveal agarose gels labeled with ethidium bromide or another marker that emits into the ultraviolet, as well as acrylamide gels stained with coomassie blue and silver.

Mondays 9am-1pm and 2pm-6pm, Thursdays 2pm-6pm, and Fridays 2pm-6pm.

ZEISS AXIO OBSERVER D1 Inverted Microscope: Inverted microscope with Axiocam HRc Rev. 3 digital camera (maximum resolution of 13 Megapixels) for research on petri dishes, multiwell plates and slides, for brightfield, phase contrast, differential interferential contrast (dic), and epi-fluorescence with filtros: DAPI, GFP/FITC, and rhodamine. You can record multichannel fluorescence, perform interactive measurements on images, and time-lapse recording.

Tuesdays from 9am-1pm, Thursdays from 2pm-6pm, and Fridays from 9am-1pm and 2pm-6pm.

BIOTEK SYNERGY HT Microplate reader: Fuorescence and microplate absorbance reader for proteins and DNA/RNA quantification. Sample absorbance can be measured from 200 to 999 nm, adjustable by a monochromator in 1 nm increments. Plates from 6 to 384 wells can be read on the instrument with “final point”, kinetic and area scanning methods. It has temperature control from 6ºC to 50ºC and options to homogenize the sample.

Mondays 9am-1pm, Tuesdays 9am-1pm, Fridays 9am-1pm and 2pm-6pm.
