No Brasil, as identidades transmasculinas est\u00e3o sendo visibilizadas h\u00e1 pouco mais de duas d\u00e9cadas. Nesse per\u00edodo, as viv\u00eancias relacionadas aos direitos reprodutivos de homens trans e pessoas transmasculinas est\u00e3o precariamente representadas, tanto em pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas quanto nas investiga\u00e7\u00f5es cient\u00edficas. No \u00e2mbito nacional, n\u00e3o foi encontrada investiga\u00e7\u00e3o multidisciplinar cujo fen\u00f4meno principal s\u00e3o as experi\u00eancias gestacionais e de parentalidade vivenciadas por homens trans e pessoas transmasculinas ap\u00f3s a transi\u00e7\u00e3o de g\u00eanero, fen\u00f4meno que integra estudos de g\u00eanero nos \u00e2mbitos multidisciplinares. Aplicando abordagens e metodologias multidisciplinares em pesquisas no campo dos g\u00eaneros, corpos e sexualidades, o Grupo de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o LIFE tem como objetivo conhecer como se (re)produzem velhas e novas formas de desigualdade a partir do monitoramento de pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas. Este projeto tem como objetivos: (1) possibilitar a participa\u00e7\u00e3o em pesquisas e o aprendizado de novos conceitos, teorias e desenhos metodol\u00f3gicos nas viv\u00eancias gestacionais e de parentalidade das transmasculinidades; (2) discutir os dados obtidos no Brasil com a equipe de Portugal, internacionalmente reconhecida por sua expertise na \u00e1rea; (3) permitir que a pesquisadora aprofunde os estudos sobre g\u00eanero, corpos e sexualidades, por meio da participa\u00e7\u00e3o nas atividades conduzidas pelo Grupo de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o LIFE e pela Universidade de Lisboa. A estudante permanecer\u00e1 no Instituto de Ci\u00eancias Sociais da Universidade de Lisboa por seis meses para estudo te\u00f3rico e de campo, observa\u00e7\u00e3o, semin\u00e1rios e cursos. Os dados do est\u00e1gio de pesquisa no exterior ser\u00e3o coletados por meio de notas de campo, e os dados das entrevistas foram coletados no Brasil por meio de um roteiro de entrevista semiestruturada entre mar\u00e7o e julho de 2024. Os dados ser\u00e3o organizados e analisados por meio da abordagem de an\u00e1lise tem\u00e1tica reflexiva, na qual dois artigos e um relat\u00f3rio cient\u00edfico ser\u00e3o produzidos. O est\u00e1gio contribuir\u00e1 para o aprimoramento do estudo de doutorado no Brasil, ampliar\u00e1 parcerias e promover\u00e1 o compartilhamento de conhecimentos entre Brasil e Portugal.

Eating disorders (ED) are psychiatric illnesses characterized by persistent disturbance in eating or eating-related behavior that results in the altered consumption or absorption of food and significantly undermines one\u00b4s physical health and psychosocial behavior, resulting in high rates of morbidity and mortality. In Brazil, there are only 23 specialized services to treat ED: 11 in S\u00e3o Paulo, two in Rio de Janeiro, four in Rio Grande do Sul and one in each of the following states: Minas Gerais, Goi\u00e1s, Bahia, Cear\u00e1, Paran\u00e1 and Santa Catarina. Considering that Brazil’s current population is approximately 204 million, and that the majority of the services mentioned is not multidisciplinary, has few hired professionals and has little space available for treatment, it is clear that the supply of treatment for these psychopathological disorders in Brazil is still quite scarce, restricting not only the possibilities of treatment for patients, but also the possibilities of research and theoretical improvement of professionals working in this area. In this context, the present study aims to investigate the model of assistance, approaches and therapeutic techniques used by professionals who work at the Maudsley Hospital, a worldwide pioneer institution in the treatment of ED and part of the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM), provider the broadest portfolio of mental health services in the UK. This study will seek to acquire new knowledge that can contribute to reorganize the assistance models used in Brazil, particularly at the Assistance Group on Eating Disorders (GRATA), from the Clinic\u00b4s Hospital of the Ribeir\u00e3o Preto Medical School, University of S\u00e3o Paulo (HC-FMRP-USP), the first service specialized in the treatment of ED in Brazil, and in which the researcher has been carrying out her PhD research, continuing from her Master research and also undergraduate research and internship. Part of the team of professionals working with ED at the Maudsley Hospital is linked to the Eating Disorders Research Group of the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IoPPN) from King’s College London, United Kingdom (KCL). The insertion of the researcher in this context will include systematic observations of team meetings at the Maudsley Hospital and the research group during a three-month period, enabling the researcher\u00b4s knowledge over the innovative techniques of psychotherapy developed by Maudsley\u00b4s team, such as MANTRA \u2013 Maudsley Model of Anorexia Nervosa for Adults. From the researcher’s original doctoral project, the systematic observations of the professional team and the research group will focus, beyond the technical aspects of the treatment, the way sexuality and issues related to women’s sexual experiences are addressed in the health care service. The study will also include periodical supervisions with Prof. Janet Treasure, PhD, linked to the Eating Disorders Research Group from the IoPPN \u2013 KCL, in order to present and discuss the doctoral research methodology and preliminary results. It is expected that the supervision will deepen and extend the analysis of the original doctoral research data, since Prof. Treasure is an expert in the field of ED. It is also expected that the reseracher\u00b4s knowledge about the methods and treatment approaches used in the institution abroad may later be employed as a model for improving the treatment of patients being followed at GRATA.<\/p>\n

Cette \u00e9tude, en cotutelle de th\u00e8se, a pour objectif de comprendre la dynamique familiale, au moyen d\u2019une \u00e9valuation psychologique projective des caract\u00e9ristiques de la personnalit\u00e9 des parents et des enfants pr\u00e9sentant des troubles de conduites alimentaires (TCA), pour identifier les possibles relations entre le d\u00e9but et la continuit\u00e9 de la psychopathologie. C’est une recherche clinique qualitative bas\u00e9e sur la th\u00e9orie psychanalytique faisant partie d’ une recherche plus large, intitul\u00e9e \u201cTroubles alimentaires, ob\u00e9sit\u00e9 et famille : une perspective transculturelle\u201d, realis\u00e9e en partenariat entre l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de S\u00e3o Paulo (Br\u00e9sil) et l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Diderot-Paris. Trente personnes participeront \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sente \u00e9tude : dix filles (entre 12 et 25 ans) diagnostiqu\u00e9es avec TCA, et leurs parents. M\u00e9thodologie: (1) Formulaire d\u2019information s\u00f3cio-d\u00e9mographiques ; (2) Guide d\u2019entretien; (3) Test des Matrices Progressives de Raven ; (4) Questionnaire for Eating Disorder Diagnosis (Q-EDD) ; (5) Test de Rorschach ; (6) Proc\u00e9d\u00e9 du Dessin des Familles avec Histoires (DF-E). Les donn\u00e9es seront organis\u00e9es selon chaque participant, apr\u00e8s selon chaque famille et interpret\u00e9es selon la th\u00e9orie psychanalytique. This Research Internship Abroad (BEPE) is part of a doctoral study aiming at learning about the experiences of same-sex families through reports in the own voices of gay and lesbian couples, and their children (12 participants in total). In-depth audio-recorded interviews were transcribed verbatim and are now being analysed qualitatively together with other data on the participants. The theme is relevant nowadays, when many voices insist to claim that only one family model is proper, legitimate and healthy, whereas other arrangements are viewed as marginal or erratic. In addition, there is no record of multidisciplinary centres in Brazil specialising in the new family forms. The Centre for Family Research (CFR) is a multidisciplinary institute of the University of Cambridge, UK, also dedicated to studies on the impact of new arrangements on parenting and child development, especially with lesbian-mother and gay-father families. The objectives in this project are: (1) to enable the insertion of the applicant into the CFR to learn new approaches and methodological designs in new family arrangement studies, particularly those with same-sex couples, and (2) to refine the doctoral research in Brazil. The applicant will stay at the CFR for six months to participate in meetings, seminars, courses and events, and will explore every opportunity to discuss the procedures and data related to the study in Brazil. The data collected during the participation and observations will be subjected to thematic analysis, and a scientific report will be produced. The internship will enhance and help to complete the work of the student in Brazil. Furthermore, the knowledge to be built is expected to inspire and improve research conducted in the Laboratory for Teaching and Research in Health Psychology (LEPPS\/USP), as well as amplify the dissemination and applicability of research in the Brazilian scenario.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
