This study axis seeks to understand how the immune system of different organs like the skin, intestine and kidney act to promote inflammation. We develop several models to study such conditions such as psoriasis, colitis and kidney damage promoted by ischemia reperfusion or by unilateral ureteral obstruction. Within each condition, a specific cell is targeted to modulate immune response and change the outcome of the disease.
