Post-doctorate Student

Anatomy Department – ICB

Research and project description

She graduated in Dentistry from the School of Dentistry of Araçatuba FOA-UNESP (2009). She holds a Master’s degree in Morphofunctional Sciences from USP (2012) and a Ph.D. in Neurosciences and Behavior from USP (2016), with a sandwich period at The Salk Institute for Biological Studies, United States (2013/2014). She was a Visiting Researcher at the Institute of Neurobiology of UNAM, Mexico (2017/2019). She is currently a postdoctoral student in the Anatomy Department of ICB/USP (Graduate Program in Systems Biology/Area: Morphofunctional Biology). She has experience in Morphology, emphasizing Neuroanatomy and Neuroendocrinology, working and collaborating on research projects to analyze the distribution of neuropeptides and receptors in the Central Nervous System and peripheral tissues. Her research also involves the investigation of messenger RNAs activation expression about maternal behavior and rodents’ energetic homeostasis by using different molecular biology techniques of RNA interference and cell culture.
