Research and project description

Bachelor’s degree in Biomedicine from the State University of Londrina (UEL – 2010), Master’s degree (2012), and Ph.D. (2016) in Pharmacology from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences of the University of São Paulo (ICB-USP). She did a sandwich period during her Ph.D. at the Department of Neuroscience at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada (2014/2015). She is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Laboratory of Chemical Neuroanatomy (LNQ) in the Department of Anatomy, ICB-USP. Works in the area of Behavioral Neuroendocrinology with emphasis on the study of the lactation period. Her research project investigates the influence of neuropeptides produced in specific rodents’ central nervous system areas, exclusively during lactation, on maternal care, metabolism, and milk production through behavioral, biochemical, molecular and immunoenzymatic analyses.
