Professor Fernando Segato visita o Manchester Institute of Biotechnology, na Inglaterra.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

No m\u00eas de novembro, o Professor Fernando Segato visitou o <\/span>Manchester Institute of Biotechnology, <\/span><\/i>na Inglaterra, com suporte do projeto SPRINT da FAPESP. Na ocasi\u00e3o, o professor ministrou uma palestra sobre suas linhas de pesquisa para professores, pesquisadores e alunos do departamento.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A visita teve o prop\u00f3sito de criar v\u00ednculos com a institui\u00e7\u00e3o e colaborar com o Prof. Sam Hey, que atua na \u00e1rea qu\u00edmica computacional voltada ao transporte de el\u00e9trons.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Nessa viagem, a doutoranda Marta V\u00e9lez esteve presente e aprendeu a utilizar algumas ferramentas computacionais. Com o conhecimento adquirido, Marta conseguir\u00e1 modelar as prote\u00ednas que s\u00e3o trabalhadas pelo grupo de pesquisa do prof. Segato.<\/span><\/p>\n
