Dr. Pra\u00e7a has experience with pharmaceutical technology, particularly to development, characterization and efficacy of nanocarriers with different physicochemical properties used to topical or transdermal drug delivery systems. Currently, her research has been conducted using different delivery systems, such as liquid crystalline phases and their dispersed systems, or elastics liposomes, or microemulsions, which can improve the skin penetration of drugs, photosensitizers, vitamins, peptides and small RNA (siRNA) for several skin diseases including cancer, inflammation and psoriasis. For this purpose, Dr. Pra\u00e7a has been using several techniques for physicochemical characterization of nanocarriers, and has experience with cell culture and induced skin cancer or inflammation animal models for preclinical evaluation and photodynamic therapy. He has been a Pharmacist at the University of S\u00e3o Paulo since 1989. Del Ciampo has experience with pharmaceutical nanotechnology and homeopathy working with dynamic light scattering, sterile drug product and microscopy.
