The doctorate student Mariane Fávero received Second Place award for Oral Presentation category in the Brazilian Local Chapter Workshop during the 15th International Congress of Pharmaceutical Sciences (CIFARP-2025), with the project “Low-cytotoxicity nanoparticle-based system for brain delivery of NUsc1 designed to inhibit beta-amyloid aggregation”. The Scientific Initiation student Thalita Rochael was awarded as well, receiving Honorable Mention for the work entitled “Enhancing Polymyxin B Activity Against Escherichia coli via Anodic Iontophoresis” on CIFARP.

15th International Congress of Pharmaceutical Sciences (CIFARP)
The 15th International Congress of Pharmaceutical Sciences (CIFARP-2025) took place from October 29th to 31st, promoted by School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto (FCFRP- USP) along with the Brazilian Association of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The students and researchers of the Center for Innovation in Nanostructured Systems and Topical Administration (NanoTop) featured their works. XV Workshop of the Postgraduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences at FCFRP-USP
During October 13th and 14th happened the 15th Workshop of the Postgraduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences at FCFRP-USP. The event featured project presentations by master’s students Eduarda Baranda and Izabella Maríngolo, and PhD students Oluwapelumi, Tais Ribeiro, Thaina Bologna, and Mariane Fávero.

SIICUSP – International Symposium on Scientific and Technological Initiation at the University of São Paulo (USP)
During October 10th, the Center for Innovation in Nanostructured Systems and Topical Administration (NanoTop) participated at the 33th Symposium on Scientific and Technological Initiation (SIICUSP), represented by the students Julia Garbelline, with the project “Inicial phase development of biodegradable tridimensional implants for glaucoma surgery”, and Letícia Lima, with the project “Development and evaluation of lipid-hyaluronic acid hybrid nanoparticles for the treatment of dry eye disease”.

VI ABCF Congress
The sixth edition of the Brazilian Association of Pharmaceutical Sciences Congress gathered approximately 400 researchers, professors, students, and professionals in Pharmaceutical Sciences from November 4th to 6th in Brasília, DF.

Our group was present at this event, where the works “Synergistic Enhancement of Sonodynamic Therapy with Low-Frequency Ultrasound and Zinc Phthalocyanine-Loaded Mesoporous Silica Nanoparticles”, by student Tais Ribeiro and “Hyaluronic acid-based nanoparticles for brain delivery of antibody NUsc1 targeting Aβ Oligomers for Alzheimer’s Disease”, by student Mariane Fávero, were presented.

PhD student Gabriela won 2nd place in the oral presentation award at the 14th Workshop of the Postgraduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences at FCFRP-USP, with the work entitled “Development of an Ex vivo Model for Investigating Iontophoresis-Assisted Ophthalmic Drug Penetration and Biomechanical Properties”. This project is part of her double degree program, carried out in partnership with the University Paris-Saclay, France.
