Vision

To analyze the problem of infection related to health care in the multi-causal perspective and the agent / host / environment triad, as well as to reflect on the following challenges: microbial multiresistance; biofilm formation, antimicrobial measures (cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, antibiotics), biomaterials, epidemiological surveillance process; national and international legislation; hand hygiene, material handling and reprocessing, and promote understanding of the behavior of the individual in the social-cognitive view.
