Nosso objetivo central \u00e9<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight );\">contribuir para que a escola transforme-se em um epicentro estrat\u00e9gico na promo\u00e7\u00e3o da justi\u00e7a clim\u00e1tica, criando subs\u00eddios e inspirando professores para que sejam difusores de conhecimento para a\u00e7\u00e3o clim\u00e1tica e, consequentemente, para que os alunos se tornem agentes centrais para mudan\u00e7a de suas comunidades.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0A estrat\u00e9gia metodol\u00f3gica deste projeto de pesquisa, ensino e extens\u00e3o fundamenta-se na pesquisa-a\u00e7\u00e3o participativa, baseada na educa\u00e7\u00e3o dial\u00f3gica de Paulo Freire, aprendizagem significativa de Ausubel e a Ci\u00eancia Cidad\u00e3.\u00a0 Buscamos inspirar a implementa\u00e7\u00e3o de atividades que valorizem os conhecimentos tradicionais, explorem diversas linguagens, promovam a resolu\u00e7\u00e3o de problemas, contribuam para a reflex\u00e3o cr\u00edtica e fomentem o protagonismo dos estudantes e toda comunidade escolar. O projeto piloto foi implementado em duas escolas rurais que atendem ao ensino fundamental e m\u00e9dio nos munic\u00edpios de Eldorado e Iporanga no Vale do Ribeira.<\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Ambas apresentam extensa \u00e1rea de influ\u00eancia, incluindo bairros rurais, assim como comunidades tradicionais quilombolas. Em ambos os casos foram identificadas m\u00faltiplas vulnerabilidades contextuais e evidentes disparidades territoriais.\u00a0<\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Nesse contexto, a reflex\u00e3o cr\u00edtica tomou o territ\u00f3rio como\u00a0 refer\u00eancia e\u00a0 ponto de partida para o desenvolvimento de uma abordagem educacional voltada para diminuir crian\u00e7as e adolescentes percebem as mudan\u00e7as clim\u00e1ticas nos territ\u00f3rios de influ\u00eancia da comunidade escolar PEI Escola Estadual do distrito de Itape\u00fana.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"text-align: var(--text-align);\">Elabora\u00e7\u00e3o e submiss\u00e3o do projeto de pr\u00e9-inicia\u00e7\u00e3o cient\u00edfica (Pr\u00e9-IC) <\/span><strong style=\"text-align: var(--text-align);\"><em>\u201c<\/em><\/strong><strong style=\"text-align: var(--text-align);\"><em>Justi\u00e7a clim\u00e1tica: leituras sobre os impactos socioambientais no Vale do Ribeira<\/em><\/strong><strong style=\"text-align: var(--text-align);\"><em>\u201c<\/em><\/strong><span style=\"text-align: var(--text-align);\"> ao edital PIBIC-Ensino M\u00e9dio 2022-2023, do Conselho Nacional de Pesquisa e Tecnologia (CNPq), que foi contemplado com tr\u00eas bolsas de pesquisa para estudantes do ensino m\u00e9dio da PEI Escola Estadual Professora Maria das Dores Viana Pereira.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li>Os resultados foram promissores desdobrando em um segundo projeto de Pr\u00e9-IC <strong><em>\u201c<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Educa\u00e7\u00e3o Clim\u00e1tica: capacita\u00e7\u00e3o juvenil para a aplica\u00e7\u00e3o da ferramenta educacional Detetive Clim\u00e1tico para o ensino b\u00e1sico de escolas p\u00fablicas no Vale do Ribeira \u00a0 The <strong>&#8220;Participatory Action Research: Education for Climate Justice in the Ribeira Valley&#8221;<\/strong> is\u00a0 projected developed by <a href=\"http:\/\/noss.each.usp.br\/\">NOSS EACH USP<\/a> in collaboration with the international initiative <a href=\"https:\/\/www.climate-uni.com\/about\">Climate-U<\/a>, was implemented in Brazil in partnership with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.incline.iag.usp.br\/quemsomos.html\">INCLINE USP.<\/a> Our main objective is to contribute to the school becoming a strategic epicenter in the promotion of climate justice, creating subsidies and inspiring teachers to be disseminators of knowledge for climate action and, consequently, for students to become central agents for change in their communities.\u00a0<\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The methodological strategy of this research, teaching and extension project is based on participatory action research, based on Paulo Freire&#8217;s dialogic education, Ausubel&#8217;s significant learning and Citizen Science.\u00a0 We seek to inspire the implementation of activities that value traditional knowledge, explore different languages, promote problem solving, contribute to critical reflection and foster the protagonism of students and the entire school community.<\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The pilot project was implemented in two rural schools that serve primary and secondary education in the municipalities of Eldorado and Iporanga in the Ribeira Valley.\u00a0 Both have an extensive area of influence, including rural neighborhoods, as well as traditional quilombola communities. In both cases, multiple contextual vulnerabilities and evident territorial disparities were identified.\u00a0 In this context, critical reflection took the territory as a reference and starting point for the development of an educational approach aimed at reducing contextual vulnerabilities, co-creating knowledge, and empowering students to play a leading role in climate justice.<\/p><p vulnerabilities, mapping the problems of the neighborhoods and the protagonism of the students involved in the promotion of knowledge for climate action in local political arenas:<\/p><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li>First, the <strong><em>&#8220;Climate Ambassadors&#8221;<\/em><\/strong> were responsible for collecting unprecedented data on how children and adolescents perceive climate change in the territories of influence of the PEI State School community in the district of Itape\u00fana.<\/li><li>Preparation and submission of the scientific pre-initiation project (Pre-IC) <strong><em>&#8220;<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Climate justice: readings on socio-environmental impacts in the Ribeira Valley<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>&#8220;<\/em><\/strong> to the PIBIC-High School 2022-2023 notice, from the National Council for Research and Technology (CNPq), which was awarded three research scholarships for high school students at PEI Escola Estadual Professora Maria das Dores Viana Pereira.<\/li><li>The results were promising, unfolding in a second Pre-IC project <strong><em>&#8220;<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Climate Education: youth training for the application of the Climate Detective educational tool for basic education in public schools in Vale do Ribeira -SP<\/em><\/strong>&#8220;, which was also awarded three scholarships from CNPQ, PIBIC-High School
