laboratory<\/strong><\/p><p>We are the OTTO lab, a research group in the Department of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering <a href=\"https:\/\/ppgen.poli.usp.br\/\">(PNV)<\/a> at the Polytechnic School of the University of S\u00e3o Paulo (Poli-USP), in Brazil. We are interested in parametric, shape and topology optimization of multiphysics problems, with experience in acoustic- and fluid-structure interaction, mechanical stress and fluid dynamics. Applications include the design of ships and offshore structures, energy systems (such as fuel cells) and pneumatic machinery for mitigation of CO2 and methane emission. Prof. Picelli is also the Director of Innovation and Technology Transfer of the Research Centre for Greenhouse Gas Innovation <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.usp.br\/rcgi\/\">(RCGI)<\/a> and a member of the Early Career Special Committee of the International Society for Structural and Multidisciplinary Optimization <a href=\"https:\/\/www.issmo.net\/\">(ISSMO)<\/a>.
