The data below show the international loans taken out by Brazil. The data source is the Federal Senate, an institution that has veto power over this type of international financial agreement. A large part of the loans are taken out by international organizations, with some countries exceptions such as Germany and Japan. The graph below can be modified using the “year” and “institution” filters. The values in the graph come from the “Value” filter, a variable that returns the sum in dollars of the amounts borrowed. The second database, “International Loans Received”, returns the same data presented above in a disaggregated manner.
