They act as a bridge between students and the institution, helping to communicate academic demands, organize activities, and strengthen university life.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"\">Beyond representation, CAs promote integration, welcome, and initiatives that make the university experience more complete, going beyond the classroom.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"\">In Mec\u00e2nica and Mecatr\u00f4nica at the Escola Polit\u00e9cnica da USP, this representation is carried out by CAM.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3d19b4e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3d19b4e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h1><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #000000;\"><b>What is CAM?<\/b><\/span><\/h1><p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\">CAM is the Centro Acad\u00eamico of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics Engineering at the Escola Polit\u00e9cnica da Universidade de S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p><p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"\">Its activities involve student representation in academic matters, as well as welcome and guidance throughout undergraduate studies. CAM also offers a physical space dedicated to rest, study, and socializing, contributing to student well-being on a daily basis.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a7c0c6a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a7c0c6a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" support:<\/span><\/strong><br \/><span class=\"\">Organizes review sessions, guidance, and initiatives to support student performance.<\/span><\/li><li><strong><span class=\"\">Student retention:<\/span><\/strong><br \/><span class=\"\">Offers resources such as a library, loan of calculators, lab coats, and goggles.<\/span><\/li><li><strong><span class=\"\">Integration and socializing:<\/span><\/strong><br \/><span class=\"\">Promotes spaces and activities that strengthen the community among students.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div goggles<\/span><\/li><li class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"\">Contact with Representantes Discentes (RDs)<\/span><\/li><li class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"\">&#8220;Fujas&#8221;, review sessions organized before exams<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span class=\"\">These actions aim to support students throughout their undergraduate studies and contribute to their retention, organization, and academic performance.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-28c1550 elementor-widget underline;\"><strong>Extension and connection with the market<\/strong><\/span><\/h1><p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"\">CAM also acts in extension and professional development initiatives.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"\">In partnership with Poli Cidad\u00e3, it organizes the Toy Workshop and the Cart Workshop, which bring children from public schools in the USP region to the Escola Polit\u00e9cnica for practical activities.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"\">Additionally, CAM organizes SEMOV, Semana de Engenharia Mec\u00e2nica e Mecatr\u00f4nica, an event that brings students closer to companies through lectures, workshops, technical visits, and booths.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4aec4fc elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4aec4fc\"
