The VII Mata Atl\u00e2ntica’s Festival was held at the Tenda de Eventos in Bertioga – SP, from June 3 to 5, 2022.<\/p>

The Festival aimed to find new alternatives to generate income in the city and region, as well as to value and strengthen local ecotourism, sustainable handicrafts and cai\u00e7ara gastronomy. The planning workshop was held at Sesc Bertioga on October 21, 2023. It was attended by Podalab teachers and students, local artisans and staff from the City Hall and Sesc Bertioga.<\/p>

The main objectives of the initiative were: to identify the problems, challenges, expectations and potential for the use of wood from pruning and suppression in Bertioga; to collectively build an overview of the local context; and finally, to outline a vision of the future and priority actions. The III Research and Extension Seminar – Podalab was held at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of S\u00e3o Paulo (FAU-USP) on April 26, 2024.
