{"id":3967,"date":"2022-09-22T00:44:49","date_gmt":"2022-09-22T02:44:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.usp.br\/portalatinoamericano\/?p=3967"},"modified":"2024-03-12T10:46:22","modified_gmt":"2024-03-12T12:46:22","slug":"sals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.usp.br\/portalatinoamericano\/es\/sals","title":{"rendered":"Salsa"},"content":{"rendered":"<b>SALSA<\/b><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Por Equipo Latinoamericana<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En las d\u00e9cadas de 1950 y 1960, hubo una inmigraci\u00f3n latina en Nueva York con una intensidad sin precedentes, y los j\u00f3venes inmigrantes, inspirados en el clima de rebeld\u00eda que se expresaba en el rock, comenzaron a elaborar estilos musicales que correspondieran a su realidad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Es as\u00ed como se rebelaron contra las\u00a0<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">big bands\u00a0<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013en esa \u00e9poca, principales representantes de la\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.usp.br\/portalatinoamericano\/es-espanol-musica\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">m\u00fasica<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0latina\u2013, tratando de innovar en las formas de hacer m\u00fasica, en un esfuerzo semejante al de los jazzistas negros. Ray Barreto,\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.usp.br\/portalatinoamericano\/espanol-palmieiri-eddie\">Eddie Palmieri<\/a>\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">y\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.usp.br\/portalatinoamericano\/espanol-colon-willie\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Willie Col\u00f3n<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, que tuvieron un papel central en la creaci\u00f3n de la salsa, tocaron durante mucho tiempo con ellos, lo que ayuda a explicar los diversos puntos de aproximaci\u00f3n entre la salsa y el jazz.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A pesar de su intenci\u00f3n subversiva, la salsa supo aprovechar de las\u00a0<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">big bands\u00a0<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">la idea de identidad latina, as\u00ed como otros elementos originarios de los g\u00e9neros negros y mulatos. Su principal caracter\u00edstica es la combinaci\u00f3n libre y espont\u00e1nea de formas, ritmos y g\u00e9neros, como la guaracha, la rumba, la cumbia, la guajira, el chachach\u00e1, el bolero, el\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.usp.br\/portalatinoamericano\/espanol-samba\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">samba<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, el merengue, el\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.usp.br\/portalatinoamericano\/espanol-hip-hop-cultura\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">hip-hop<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, entre muchos otros, de tal forma que se vuelve dif\u00edcil discernir los diferentes estilos. Adem\u00e1s, con la salsa se cre\u00f3 una forma muy original e indeterminada de improvisaci\u00f3n vocal e instrumental. El resultado es una m\u00fasica enormemente rica \u2013ejecutada con trombones, trompetas, pianos, bajos ac\u00fasticos, flauta, diversos instrumentos de percusi\u00f3n, entre otros\u2013, que resiste a la rigidizaci\u00f3n en f\u00f3rmulas, lo que hizo que pasara mucho tiempo antes de que la salsa fuese reconocida como una aut\u00e9ntica expresi\u00f3n musical.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La salsa tambi\u00e9n innov\u00f3 en sus letras, que en gran parte consist\u00edan, durante las d\u00e9cadas de 1960 y 1970, en una afirmaci\u00f3n de la identidad y unidad de los pueblos latinos y latinoamericanos, as\u00ed como en una protesta contra la discriminaci\u00f3n y la\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.usp.br\/portalatinoamericano\/espanol-desigualdad\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">desigualdad<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0social, junto con aspiraciones de libertad y justicia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Con la ayuda de Jerry Masucci, el neoyorquino fundador de Fania Records, que fue el mayor productor de grabaciones de m\u00fasicas latinas hasta la d\u00e9cada de 1980, la salsa se difundi\u00f3 primeramente por algunos Estados norteamericanos y en los pa\u00edses latinoamericanos, en especial en\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.usp.br\/portalatinoamericano\/cuba\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cuba<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.usp.br\/portalatinoamericano\/puerto-rico\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Puerto Rico<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.usp.br\/portalatinoamericano\/re\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rep\u00fablica Dominicana<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.usp.br\/portalatinoamericano\/espanol-colombia\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Colombia<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.usp.br\/portalatinoamericano\/espanol-mexico\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">M\u00e9xico\u00a0<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">y\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.usp.br\/portalatinoamericano\/espanol-venezuela\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Venezuela<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, y a partir de la d\u00e9cada de 1980, en la\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.usp.br\/portalatinoamericano\/espanol-argentina\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Argentina<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Europa, Jap\u00f3n, y tambi\u00e9n en los Estados Unidos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En los a\u00f1os 80, a pesar del surgimiento de la salsa rom\u00e1ntica y de la salsa er\u00f3tica, perdi\u00f3 parte de su popularidad a favor del merengue dominicano, pero en la d\u00e9cada de 1990 eso se revirti\u00f3, con el resurgimiento de m\u00fasicos cubanos que introdujeron importantes innovaciones.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Salvo algunos pocos grandes compositores \u2013los puertorrique\u00f1os Ortiz y\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.usp.br\/portalatinoamericano\/espanol-tite-curet-alonso-catalino\">\u201cTite\u201d Curet Alonso<\/a>\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">y el paname\u00f1o Omar Alfanno\u2013,\u00a0las salsas fueron creadas por los instrumentistas de los conjuntos y sobre todo por los directores de las orquestas.
