Sepse\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>Resumo:\u00a0<\/strong>Investiga as intera\u00e7\u00f5es multilaterais entre o sistema imune e os v\u00e1rios sistemas fisiol\u00f3gicos em casos graves de infec\u00e7\u00f5es (sepse) e inflama\u00e7\u00e3o sist\u00eamica. Com esta abordagem, procura identificar os mecanismos pelos quais esses sistemas cooperam ou competem uns com os outros em diferentes contextos. Muitos, mas nem todos, desses mecanismos envolvem o sistema nervoso central como um integrador de sinais imunes, fisiol\u00f3gicos e
