Qualification Exam – How to proceed to present the documents?
- 1st STEP: Request Judging Committee for the Qualification Exam;
- 2 STEP: Registration Form;
- 3rd STEP: Printed copies of the qualification Project.

1st STEP: Presentation of the Request for Judging Committee of Qualification Exam (link to access the form-Item 2)
Note: Presentation must be done at the GPIB secretary.

VERY IMPORTANT: There have been many cases in which the student/advisor do not consult in advance the professor (internal or external) that he/she wishes to appoint to compose the judging committee and, due to this fact, many are denying participation. Therefore, before indicating a professor for the judging committee, please consult in advance.

We have used, as reference, the table below, which was approved by CCP/GPIB in ordinary meeting.

2^nd STEP: Presentation of the Application Form (link to access the form-Item 6)

In this step, the maximum period for registration in the Qualification Exam must be obeyed, which is shown in the Student Sheet in the Janus System.

Note: Presentation must be done at the CPG office.

3^rd STEP: Presentation of printed copies of the qualification Project:
DEADLINE ADOPTED BY PPGBI – The student should present the printed copies (with simple binding) in the GPBI SECRETARY, at least 30 days in advance of the suggested date for the presentation of the qualification.

IMPORTANT: According to Item VIII of the Regulation of the Graduate Program in Industrial Biotechnology:

The exam must be carried out no later than 60 (sixty) days after registration.

The graduate student who does not register in the qualification exam in the predicted period will be disconnected from the Program, according to item V of article 52 of the USP Graduate Regiment.
