The modeling and the simulation of chemical and biological phenomena are used as tools for the development of systems and equipments.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">_________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Production, Characterization and Purification of Biomolecules:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The objective of this line is the development of technologies for obtaining, extracting and purifying biomolecules of industrial and pharmaceutical interest. Also addresses the use of enzymes in biocatalytic processes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">_________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Development of Fermentation Processes:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It aims at the development of bioprocesses to obtain products (ethanol, xylitol, among others) and fermented foods.
