Realiza-se a quantifica\u00e7\u00e3o dos principais componentes da biomassa lignocelul\u00f3sica (celulose, hemicelulose, lignina, extra\u00edveis e materiais inorg\u00e2nicos), produzem-se enzimas ligninol\u00edticas e xilanol\u00edticas a partir do cultivo de microrganismos para serem usadas na desconstru\u00e7\u00e3o da parede celular de res\u00edduos agr\u00edcolas, desenvolvem-se novas tecnologias de separa\u00e7\u00e3o de hemiceluloses visando sua aplica\u00e7\u00e3o.
