MINIMUM CREDITS<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

1) The candidate for the Master’s degree must complete at least ninety-six (96) credit units, according to the following criteria:<\/p>

  • A minimum of thirty-two (32) units of credits in courses;<\/li>
  • Sixty-four (64) credit units in the preparation of the dissertation.<\/li><\/ul>

    2) The Directed Doctoral candidate must complete at least one hundred and ninety-two (192) credit units, according to the following criteria:<\/p>

    • A minimum of 56 (fifty-six) credit units in courses. One hundred and thirty-six (136) credit units in the preparation of the thesis.<\/li><\/ul>

      3) The PhD candidate, holding a Master’s degree awarded by or recognized by USP, must complete a minimum of 160 (one hundred and sixty) credit units, according to the following criteria:<\/p>

      • A minimum of 24 (twenty-four) units of credits in courses;136 (one hundred and thirty-six) units of credit in the preparation of the thesis.<\/li>
      • One hundred and thirty-six (136) credit units in the preparation of the thesis.<\/li><\/ul>
